The family of LtCol Jerry D. Lindauer has requested the participation of the PGR in his funeral service. LtCol Lindauer served 20 years in the US Marine Corps, including Vietnam 1965-1966. Among his numerous medals and commendations are the Bronze Star and Purple Heart.
Date/Time: Thursday, 26 January 2012. Funeral service scheduled for 12:30 pm.
Location: St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 5455 Bee Cave Rd, Austin, TX. We will stage at the church.
Directions: The church property is not visible from Bee Caves Rd. From the intersection of Bee Caves Rd and Hwy 360, travel east on Bee Caves to the second traffic light and turn south at Redbud Trail. Follow the short road to the church parking lot. Map link: tinyurl.com/StJohnNeumannAustin
Timeline:
11:15 am – 11:45 am staging
11:45 am briefing and flag lineWx: Partly cloudy, 20% rain chance, low 47, high 58 deg.
Notes: This will be a flag line only at the church. Col Lindauer will be interred at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
