Sunny but chilly day for the 10 of us to stand for LtCol Gerlinger. Don Ferguson along with other PGR arrived from the earlier mission in Georgetown and posted flags. We split the flagline into two, one for each entrance. His family walked them and thanked us for honoring him.

Just prior to the start of the funeral service family and friends ventured outside to watch the USAF honors team perform a rifle salute in front of the church. After they went back inside and the soldiers departed so did we.

Thanks again to Don for wrangling flags and to all who attended, especially those who stood two flag lines today.

    RIP LtCol Donald Gerlinger.
