6 Patriots formed a flag line at the Ramsey Funeral Home for LTC Thomas Mark Mitchell.
The weather was overcast at 66 degrees with winds out of the west at 11mph, allowing the unfurled flags to flap in the breeze.
The parking lot was packed with vehicles of family and friends for the visitation followed by a memorial service, so much so that the overflow wrapped the side and back parking lot. That outpouring of support stands as a testament as to how many lives LTC Mitchell touched in his 89 years of life.
It was an honor and privilege to stand for LTC Mitchell.
I made the return trip to Liberty Hill on my spyder, without getting rained on, as I was the only PGR member on a bike for this mission.
