Received this thanks from the Motorcycle Awareness Event last week. Thanks for being there!

“I would like to send a special thank you to the Texas Patriot Guard Riders for participating in TxDOT's Look Twice campaign kick off last week. We greatly appreciate you and the other riders for taking time out of your busy schedules to participate in the procession and help generate awareness about motorcycle safety. Without you, this event would not have been a success. Below is a link to some photos from the event. Please feel free to share them with your fellow riders. Have a great rest of the week.”

    From Mr. Walker's family:

I want to make a special heart felt thank you to Patriot Guard Riders of TEXAS for coming out on their own time, for a man they never met and battle almost triple digit heat to show love, honor and support to our family. God bless everyone of them. I would also like to thank the United States Air Force for providing the Honor Guard. Dad would have been touched by their professionalism. I know it caused a very strong feeling within the whole family.

    From Connie Lane 11-16-15

“On behalf of our family, please extend a huge thank you to all who attended my Dad, Emery Lange's funeral on Friday, November 13. I will forever keep the picture in my mind and in my heart of their presence at the funeral home, at the cemetery and especially on the trip to the cemetery. I was in the car with my mother and brother, second in line after the motorcycles. Even though my heart was breaking, the picture of the guard in front and behind my Dad made my heart sing. It is something that we as a family always talked about for my Dad but when you experience it, there is a whole new perspective and appreciation for those of you who ride with the guard.
My son (Emery's grandson) went to those who carried the flag after the service at the cemetery and shook each of their hands. That really made my heart break in a whole new way.

I am grateful for all that you do.”

    Regards,
    Connie Lange

From the Family of Ed Weidig 11- 18- 2015

“Please accept our heartfelt thanks to you and other members of the Patriot Guard Riders that stood on the flag line for Edward Weidig on November 9th. It was beautiful. As one of you, I know Ed would have been tremendously honored. He was a wonderful father, friend and man, and I know many of you share our loss. God bless you for making his memorial so special.”
