    Confirmed mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the memorial service for Mr. Lee Ray Clinard. Mr. Clinard was in the US Army from 1943 to 1946. He is a WWII veteran having served in the Philippines and Japan. He left the service as a PFC.

    This is a Centex PGR mission. We are having an Austin area staging to help honor Mr. Clinard whose remaining family is his granddaughter.

    No obituary has been posted.

    Date/Time: Saturday, 02 February 2019. Service begins at 11 am.

    Service Location: Gause Full Gospel Church, 14069 US Hwy 79, Gause, TX 77857.

    Austin area staging location:
    Rosa's Cafe. 2111 E Palm Valley Blvd, Round Rock, TX 78664. Rosa's has delicious and affordable breakfasts for those wishing to have some eats before departure.

    Timeline:
    7:30 – 8:30 am – Staging
    8:30 am – Briefing
    8:40 am – KSU for the approx. 1 hour ride east on 79 to the church.

    Wx: Hi 70 deg, Cloudy skies with some morning fog. Slight chance of a rain shower.

    Notes: Arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. This mission is a flag line only at the church. Upon arrival at the church we will fall under the direction of the Centex ride captain.

    The day started w a very good breakfast then a nice 55 mile ride. It was a little foggy but no sun in our eyes. Yea. The 5 of us stopped in Milano to flag up just before the church. The 5 Cen-Tex riders already there, said it made a very nice visual as we rode in. Mr. Clinard's granddaughter, Amy, was very gracious & thanked us all for showing such support & respect. Thanks everyone for your continued patriotism. You DO make a difference.
