Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral services for Mr. Jose “Joe” P. Leija. Mr. Leija entered the service in 1960 and served in the US Army and Army Reserves for eight years, leaving the service as a Sergeant with the 4th Battalion, 133rd Artillery.
Date/Time: Friday, 18 May 2018. Funeral mass at 10:00 am.
Location: St Mary Catholic Church, 205 W Pecan St, Lockhart, TX 78644. We will stage at the church.

Notes: Arrive fed, fueled, hydrated. Sun screen recommended. Bring two bottles of water for yourself and one for a friend. At the conclusion of the funeral mass we will join an LEO escorted procession to the nearby St. Mary Cemetery where we will stand a second flag line for the interment service.
