    Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Mr. James Knipp. Mr. Knipp served in the US Army, enlisting in June 1946. He served in Japan and Korea and was discharged in November 1951 with the rank of Corporal.

    An obituary has not yet been published.

    Date/Time: Thursday, 25 January 2018. Funeral Mass scheduled at 10 am.

    Location: St Louis Catholic Church, 7601 Burnet Road, Austin, TX 78757. We will stage at the church.

    8:50 – 9:20 am – Staging
    9:20 am – Briefing
    9:30 am – Flag line

    Wx: Hi 63 deg, sunny.

    Notes: Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. This is a flag line only at the church. After the start of the funeral service we will strike the flag line and depart quietly. Interment will take place the next day (Friday) at CTSVC, 9 am. Centex PGR will attend.

    4 bikes and 3 cages showed up to honor Cpl. Knipp. Family was pleased with turnout. Interesting tidbit from Cpl. Knipp's grandson, Cpl. Knipp was on the staff of General McArthur for a year. Thanks to all who attended and special thanks to Don as always.
