March 14, 2026 at 2:55 pm #7915SoupCampbellModeratorMission Complete: It was a beautiful windy day in Spicewood, Texas for the mission to honor SPC Henry Lee Preece. Nicki arrived early and staked a couple of flags at the entrance to the church. A total of 6 riders attended. We were please to have Nic Adams and Dave Stinson join us from San Antonio. Nic noticed that SPC Preece had served in the 173rd Airborne and brought a brand new 173rd unit flag which we were able to staff and display in the flag line. After the service at the church started, we departed for the cemetery. The cemetery is located in a gated community with a manned security gate. We entered with no problems or delay. Honors were provided by the Highland Lakes Honor Guard assisted by 2 US Army military personnel. The entire family was very appreciative of our presence to honor their love one. Thanks again to the riders who attended and made this yet another successful PGR mission. Respectfully submitted, R.S. (Soup) Campbell, Ride Captain.
