It was an overflowing parking lot and standing-room-only inside Ramsey’s chapel that 6 of us Patriot Guard members witnessed this afternoon for the memorial service to honor Mr. Donald Pfiester, Captain, USAF (Ret). We stood tall along and between each of many static flags our flag-wrangler Don had placed in the grass along the front of the building and it made for a real impressive statement for the arriving guests to walk by. There were many, many “thank you, gentlemen” given to all of us by the arriving guests and Mr. Pfiester’s family was especially grateful we were there to honor him. I thank all of you who attended todays mission and I also wish to extend a big AUS/PGR Welcome to first-time rider Tom Wallace, who rode in from Buda. Godspeed and RIP Donald Pfiester and thank you for your service to our country!
