    Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in a dedication ceremony honoring Marine Cpl Tevan Nguyen. A 2007 graduate of Hutto High School, Cpl. Nguyen sacrificed his life in the line of duty while conducting combat operations in Helmand Province Afghanistan. The PGR participated in his funeral in Brownwood in January 2011 and at a memorial event in Hutto in Febuary 2011. This event is a plaque dedication and renaming of a city football field in his memory.

    Date/Time: Saturday, 26 May 2018. Event to begin at 10:30 am

    Location: Fritz Park, 400 Park Ave, Hutto, TX 78634. Staging is in the parking lot at Live Oak St and Park Avenue.
    Directions: Travelling eastbound on Hwy 79 turn left on 1660 and right on Live Oak St. West bound you can turn right onto Park Avenue.

    Timeline:
    9:30 – 10:15 am – Staging
    10:15 am – Briefing
    10:25 pm – Flag line at discretion of the ride captain

    Wx: Hi 96 deg F, sunny

    Notes: Please bring two bottles of water for yourself and one for a friend. Sun screen recommended. We will stand the flag line for the duration of the approximately 30 minute ceremony. At its conclusion we will strike the flag line and depart.

    Great turn out for for Cpl Nguyen's family & dedication of the renaming of the stadium. 15 patriots along with several staked flags lined the area of presentation. Thanks to Don for his help w the extra flags. And thanks to all of U for braving the heat & showing what it means to be a Patriot Guard Rider.
