Confirmed Mission: The family of Conrado Nira has invited the PGR to participate in his funeral and interment services. Mr. Nira is a combat veteran of two wars, serving in the US Army during WWII, 1943 – 46, and again in Korea, 1950-51, where he was a heavy weapons specialist. He was wounded in Korea and awarded the Purple Heart. When asked in later years about his rank in the military, he would refer to himself as a "bullet stopper". His obituary can be seen here:

Our mission is complete. Thanks to those that rolled the dice with the weather. We had 3 bikes that made it. I am guessing that the weather may have had something to do with that but luckily we made it through without getting wet. Also big thanks to Don for getting the flags there.

From Belinda Nira-Munoz, Conrado Nira's daughter.

“Mr Mark….the PGR made my Dad's funeral extra special & meaningful. Thank you & your team again. The Conrado Nira fam is enjoying reading the National PGR tread. Thank you again & again…”
