    Confirmed Mission: The family of Conrado Nira has invited the PGR to participate in his funeral and interment services. Mr. Nira is a combat veteran of two wars, serving in the US Army during WWII, 1943 – 46, and again in Korea, 1950-51, where he was a heavy weapons specialist. He was wounded in Korea and awarded the Purple Heart. When asked in later years about his rank in the military, he would refer to himself as a "bullet stopper".     Date/Time: Monday, 16 May 2016, 10:00 am.

    Location: Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 110 W Rio Grande St, Taylor, TX 76574. We will stage at the church.

    8:45 – 9:15 am staging
    9:15 am briefing with flag line to follow

    Wx: High 83, 30% rain chance.

    Notes: Please arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. Following the funeral mass we will join an LEO escorted procession for the short ride to Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery, where will establish a second flag line for the interment service.

    Our mission is complete. Thanks to those that rolled the dice with the weather. We had 3 bikes that made it. I am guessing that the weather may have had something to do with that but luckily we made it through without getting wet. Also big thanks to Don for getting the flags there.
