"I want to express my heartfelt thanks to each of you that escorted the 3417 Texas Vietnam Heroes on step closer to their Welcome Home! The pride you exhibit in your organization and what you do to honor veterans is without equal. Your dedication in assisting in the events yesterday was so very evident. I am proud to call you Brother and to stand with you as a veteran in this place we call home.
