    Confirmed Mission:
    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family to participate in the funeral service of Claud Thigpen 83, U.S. Army Korean war veteran. Claud achieved the rank of Corporal.

    Location: Providence Funeral Home, 807 Carlos G. Parker Blvd, Taylor Tx

    Directions: From the intersection of FM 685 and Hwy 79 East in Hutto, go east on Hwy 79 until reaching the overpass of the loop around Taylor. Turn left just after passing under the overpass and go north on Carlos G. Parker Blvd until reaching the funeral home, on the right.

    10:15am – 10:45am Staging 
    10:45am – Mission/Safety Briefing
    11:00am – Flag line

    Wx: Partly Cloudy, lo – 74, hi – 95, 10% possibility of rain (KVUE Wx)

    Notes:   Please arrive on time, and hydrate prior to the mission.. Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the hot weather. Suggest sun block.
    When the service concludes, we will join the LEO escorted procession to Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, just south of Killeen, for graveside services scheduled for 2:00pm.

    Thanks to those who made this mission in Taylor, then rode the distance to Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery for the interment portion. The family was very appreciative of our attendance and honoring their loved one.

    We had 6 bikes and 7 folks in Taylor. At CTSVC there were 14 present.
    Thanks to Bob for wrangling the flags in his shiny van, and to our CenTex brothers and sisters who were standing tall amid a field of flags when we arrived.
    Thanks to all of you, another of our warriors was honored today!
