Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the celebration of life service for Charles William Covill. Mr. Covill served with the 25th bomb squadron in the Pacific Theater, including Japan, China, and Burma. According to his daughter he was on the crew which loaded the Enola Gay. He was a staff sergeant when he left the service.

Date/Time: Tuesday, 07 March 2017. Service begins at 2 pm.

Location: Cook Walden Funeral Home, 6100 North Lamar, Austin, TX 78752. This is the location across the street from the DPS headquarters. We will stage at the funeral home.

Notes: Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. This is a flag line only at the funeral home. Once the service begins we will strike the flag line and depart quietly.

Mr. Covill's daughter & son both came out to the flag line to thank us for showing such honor for their dad. thanks to Don, we were able to establish 12 flags in front of the funeral home. Thanks everyone for your showing of respect.
