Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service for Mr. Charles Henry Brown, Jr. Mr. Brown served in the US Army from 1977 – 1980, leaving the service with the rank of SPC 4.

Date/Time: Friday, 24 August 2018. Funeral service scheduled for 2 pm.

Location: Mt Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, 602 Symes, Taylor, TX. We will stage at the church.

Notes: Stay hydrated! Bring two bottles of water for yourself and one for a friend. After the start of the funeral service we will strike the flag line depart quietly.

The PGR was invited to Honor the service of Charles Brown Jr. gave to this Country while serving in the Army. 5 members braved the heat to stand the line in Taylor. Before we struck the flag line the funeral home asked if we could help carry Mr. Brown into the church. After helping moving Mr. Brown into the church we stood the flag line Once the family arrived, held a short prayer under a tree in front of the church and entered we broke down the flag line and quietly departed.
