12:30 pm – Flag lineWx: Lo-55, Hi-79, clear skies.
Notes: Start hydrating the day before and bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the weather. Suggest sunblock. Once the service begins we will dismantle the flag line and depart quietly.
Interment: Burial is scheduled for Friday, 30 Oct 2015, at Ft Sam Houston cemetery in San Antonio. There will be a small procession from Cook Walden to Ft Sam that morning. It will NOT have LEO escort, so we're looking for no more than four big flag bikes to participate. Please contact Mark Wells (see below) if you can commit to accompanying the procession to San Antonio on Friday. Due to the inclement weather this portion of the mission is a stand down.

Please try to attend this mission to honor a warrior from our greatest generation.
October 29, 2015 at 7:48 pm #4720markwellsKeymasterOn a beautiful fall day there were five of us representing the PGR in honoring the remarkable WWII service of Mr. Rodgers. Many of his friends and family members thanked us for being there. It was our privilege to do so.
October 30, 2015 at 12:43 pm #4722markwellsKeymasterFYI, due to the inclement weather the SA PGR has issued a STAND DOWN for the interment portion of this mission today at Ft Sam.
