    CONFIRMED CENTEX MISSION
    TSgt Herbert Lynn “Glynn” Springer, US Air Force, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, 77, China Spring, TX

    The family of Tech Sergeant Herbert Springer has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One in Waco, TX.

    Glynn served in the US Air Force from April 18 Apr 53 to 31 May 73, retiring as a Tech Sergeant. During his time in service he lived in England and Greece and traveled all over Europe. He is a decorated Vietnam Veteran and served in Da Nang during the war.

    Flagline Establishment: 1315 +/- Once the service has begun, we will strike the flagline and await the end of the Service, at which time we will accompany TSgt Springer to the China Spring Cemetery where we will establish another flagline for his Interment.

    WX: Mostly sunny, with a high near 84. East southeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.

    Notes:

    1. Arrive at stagings topped off and On Time.

    2. We will make a fuel stop at the Valero in Bellmead on the NE corner of IH-35 & Loop 340 tinyurl.com/ValeroBellmead340-35 before proceeding to the Funeral Home. Waco Area riders may join us there or at the Funeral Home.

    3. We have been asked to participate in the procession to the China Spring Cemetery for Interment. Bring a kickstand pad.

    4. Hydrate well the night prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.

    Please join us in honoring this US Air Force Retiree and Vietnam Veteran for his selfless service to our Great Nation.
