January 26, 2011 at 11:16 pm #3043markwellsKeymasterI was very proud to be on this mission for Viet Vet Thomas Pearson. The weather turned out great with all but clear skies and sunshine. John "TC' Wiley and Mary "marebear" Gregory did a great job. I didn't get the bike and cage count but there was a very nice turnout. Members of the "In Country Veterans" MC also joined us. We all stood Tall, Silent and Proud.

I know I must be starting to sound like a broken record because it seems I say this after every mission, but once again you guys and gals of the Patriot Guard never cease to amaze me. What a nice turn out in Burnet today for Vietnam Veteran Thomas Pearson. I did not get a total head count but the final count on Bikes and Cages was 17 and 2.
I also want to thank members of the VFW, ICVMC, and Hill Country Honor Guard who joined with us today in honoring Mr. Pearson. I spoke with the Family immediately after the service and was asked to make sure that each and every one of you were told "Thank You" and how much they appreciated your attendance today. I know I have said this many times before too….But "We Do Make a Difference".
Thank you again to all who made this mission, be it in person or in Spirit. You made my job today a lot easier. I hope all are back home Safe and Sound (and Warm)
