    The family of Staff Sergeant John Martin Wedin has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in the Funeral and Interment of their Loved One on Tuesday, 20 Sep 11 at 1000 at the Mountain View Baptist Church in Harker Heights, Texas. We have been asked to participate in the funeral procession to Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery following the Church Service.
    Staff Sergeant Wedin served in the US Army during the Vietnam conflict and was awarded the Bronze Star Medal.

    Staging Time: 0900

    Staging Location: Mountain View Baptist Church, 2507 Cedar Knob Rd, Harker Heights, TX 76548 tinyurl.com/MtnViewBapChHH The Church is on the SE corner of FM 2410 & Cedar Knob Roads, sideways across from the gas station.

    Briefing: 0915

    Flagline Establishment: 0920 +/- Once the service has begun, we will strike the flagline and prepare to participate in the procession to the cemetery.

    For those able to participate only in the Interment portion of this mission, the following is submitted:

    Staging Time: 1105

    Staging Location: The cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, located on Hwy 195 just south of Killeen, TX.

    Briefing: 1110 Upon clearance we will move to the shelter, set up the flags and await the arrival of the procession bringing Staff Sergeant Wedin to his final resting place.

    WX: Sunny, with a high near 90. North northeast wind around 5 mph.

    Notes: Arrive topped off, hydrated, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
