CONFIRMED SHORT NOTICE CENTEX MISSION
SSG John L Schall, 73, US Army
Retired, Vietnam Veteran, of Nolanville, TXThe family of Staff Sergeant John Schall has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One.
John served in the US Army with honor until his retirement May of 02. While serving he received a Bronze Star Medal; a Purple Heart; the Vietnam Cross of Gallantry with Palm; the Vietnam Service Medal; the Air Medal (3d Oak leaf Cluster); the Army Commendation Medal; and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal to name a few. John was very proud of his service to our Country and enjoyed sharing the stories of his tours in Vietnam. He also retired from the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and later worked for HEB in Killeen for a short time. Briefing: 1120 – Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags and await arrival of the procession.
