SGT William Travis Barker, US Army, POW, Korean War
The family of Sergeant William Barker has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in the Procession and Interment of their Loved One.
SGT Barker was taken Prisoner of War in 01 Dec 50 while providing medical aid to members of his unit during the Battle of the Ch’ongch’on River in North Korea. He was a Medic with 503rd Field Artillery Battalion, 2nd Infantry Division. The Family DNA match was made on 30 Jun 12.
