    CONFIRMED MISSION
    SGT Terrence S. Higgins, US Army, Active Duty

    The family of Sergeant Terrence Higgins has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One on Monday, 28 Nov 11 at the Greater Vision Church in Killeen, TX. We have been requested to participate in the procession to the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery following the Service.

    Sergeant Higgins was stationed at Ft Bliss and was killed in an automobile accident in El Paso last Tuesday, 15 Nov 11. SGT Higgins is from Killeen and served at least one tour in Afghanistan. He was posthumously promoted to Sergeant.

    Staging Time: 0900

    Briefing: 0905

    Flagline Establishment: 0910 +/- Once the service has begun, we will strike the flagline and prepare to participate in the procession to CTSVC.

    INTERMENT

    For those able to participate only in the Interment portion of this mission, the following is submitted:

    Staging Time: 1305

    Staging Location: The cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, located on Hwy 195 just south of Killeen, TX.

    Briefing: 1310 – Upon clearance, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags and await arrival of the procession.

    WX: Sunny, with a high near 66. West southwest wind around 5 mph.

    Note: Arrive hydrated, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
