SGM Jimmie D Ingram, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran, Killeen, TX
The family of Sergeant Major Jimmie Dean Ingram has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One.SGM Ingram enlisted in the US Army in 1953. He served as cook, night baker, and Executive Chef, and in later enlistments, as an intelligence analyst and linguist. As a Noncommissioned Officer, he served in various leadership positions including First Sergeant in the 2nd Armored Division and two tours as III Corps G2 Sergeant Major at Ft Hood. He was also the Sergeant Major in the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence, HQs, US Army Europe. His many tours of duty took him to Italy, Germany, Turkey, Thailand, and two combat tours to The Republic of Vietnam. After retiring from the military, SGM Ingram was a contract Senior Intelligence Analyst, Fort Hood Customs Inspector, and Security Officer for III Corps and TEXCOM. He was a charter life member of the Retired Sergeants Major Association, life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Disabled American Veteran's Association, and a member of the American Legion.
