    CONFIRMED MISSION
    SGM Darius G. Cecil, US Army, Retired, Korea, VN

    The family of Retired SGM Darius G. Cecil, 72, has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Interment of their loved one. Funeral Services will be held at Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home in Copperas Cove, TX on Friday, 16 Jul 10 at 1230 followed by a procession to Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery (CTSVC) for interment at 1400.

    Notes: We have been asked to escort SGM Cecil to the CTSVC. Expect many riders from other Veteran associations to ride with us.

    Cemetery Staging:
    For those members who are able to participate only in the cemetery portion, staging will be at the cul-de-sac between the Memorial Shelter and the Walk of Heroes at CTSVC, 5 miles south of Killeen, TX. Once we are cleared, we will proceed to the shelter to set up and await the arrival of SGM Cecil.

    Thanks to all that stood for SGM Cecil. As usual an Awesome display of respect.
    I had the privilege of helping Dave and the rest of the PGR guys and gals get the cemetery ready for the arrival of SGM Cecil. What an awesome site to see the PGR flags flying, the old cars and all of the people come to pay their last respects.
