CONFIRMED CENTEX MISSION
SFC Joe W Varnell, US Army, Retired, Vietnam Veteran
Volunteer Firefighter, Killeen, TXThe family of Sergeant First Class Joe Varnell has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One.
Joe is a veteran of the Vietnam War, where served with distinction as a Combat Infantryman. While there he earned several medals, including the Silver and Bronze Stars, as well as a Purple Heart. After 21 years of active duty he retired. He was one of the founders of the Southwest Bell Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed his many years as a firefighter and board member.
