CONFIRMED CENTEX/AUSTIN MISSION
CenTex Addendum to and Portion of Austin Mission
PO Brian K Lundy, 25, US Navy, KIA, Round Rock, TXThe family of Petty Officer Brian Lundy has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in the Funeral and Interment of their Loved One on Wednesday, 21 Sep 11 at 1000 at Sweet Home Baptist Church in Round Rock, TX tinyurl.com/SweetHmBapChRR, with a procession to and interment at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen.
Petty Officer Lundy was killed in action while conducting a dismounted patrol in Marjah, Helmand province, Afghanistan, on 9 September. PO Lundy is from Austin and was assigned as a hospital corpsman to 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment, Regimental Combat Team 5, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, NC.

CENTEX PORTION – INTERMENT AT CTSVC
For those able to participate only in the Interment portion of this mission, the following is submitted:
Staging Time: 1230
Staging Location: The cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, located on Hwy 195 just south of Killeen, TX.
Briefing: 1245 Upon clearance we will move to the shelter, set up the flags and await the arrival of the procession bringing Petty Officer Lundy to his final resting place.
NOTE: The Interment appointment IS at 1400. CTSVC has blocked 1300 to 1500 for this funeral, so we need the flags in place at the earliest possible time in case the procession from Round Rock arrives early. Semper Gumby.
