14 riders showed up at Austin stagging today. And @ the Burnet stagging there was 44 bikes several cages & a ton of civilians. Those of U who experienced a small town reception for a fallen hero for the first time, I'm sure had a most moving ride.
Thank you all for taking the time to show the family & town folks what honering & respect is all about.
Hope to see many of you there Wed as we will again stage at 183 & 29. (0800)
We will head for the Austin mission as soon as the grave side part is completed.

    Keith,
Thanks for a well executed mission. Bless the folks in the small towns, for they are the pillars of America. My eyes were watering before we made the turn onto 281, and the curbs were lined the entire way.
Always proud to stand with you.

Thanks Keith and to all who came to Burnet today for the Airport Recovery portion of this mission. I know there were probably even more that wanted to come but could not and were there with us in Spirit. I hope all made it home safely and I know I will see a lot of you again tomorrow. Thanks for doing what you do.

A big THANK U to the 6 that went to Burnet from Austin PGR. At the church, there was about 40 bikes plus several cages. My brother from Burnet, rode his first KIA funeral procession & like all of us, was moved so much when he saw all the people along the road.
As it turned out, I was able to get to Pflugerville for the grave side part of the Austin mission.
    Thanks again everyone. UR super.

Both Portions of this Mission are now complete. At the Airport Recovery yesterday (June 7th) the count was 44 Bikes and Trikes with many of those being "Double Up". Semper Gumby was a key player since the plane was about 5 minutes early and the last of the Flag Line was just getting in place as Kallita touched down. The City of Burnet was out in full force. Hwy 281 was completely shut down for the procession from the Airport to the Funeral Home with citizens lining both sides of the route from start to finish.
At the Funeral today we had 38 Bikes and Trikes and a couple of cages. Many of Anthony's friends and citizens from around the community were there today and many were visibly emotional over his death. This young Soldier was only 19 years old, but he had obviously matured well beyond that. Here is a partial quote from his Funeral Program pamphlet. " He never met anyone who didn't need a hug from him, and there was nothing better than an Anthony hug. He not only loved his Country, he loved Texas with a passion. He was a remarkable soldier, son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. He will be missed by many."

I want to Thank everyone who attended one or both parts of this mission and those there in spirit. I also want to Thank everyone who helped me accomplish both parts of this mission. You may not feel like what you did was all that important, but it was to me and it helped make it all turn out well.
And Thanks again for doing what you do,
    TC
