    CONFIRMED CENTEX MISSION
    4/17 Memorial Ceremony, West, TX

    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in and attend the 4/17 Memorial in West, TX. The actual ceremony will begin at 1930 at the West Fair & Rodeo Grounds.

    Date: Thursday, 17 Apr 14

    Belton Staging Time: 1620

    Belton Briefing: 1630

    Belton KSU: 1645 – Yes, I left 1 hr, 45 min ride time! Expect rush hours through towns!

    West Staging Time: 1830

    West Staging Location: 2368 Cemetery Road, West, TX 76691tinyurl.com/WestFestBackGate

    Directions: Going North on I-35, take the Tokio Road Exit 251. Turn Right on Tokio Road, Continue over railroad tracks. Turn Right on Main Street. Curve Left onto Cemetery Road. Watch on Left for Red Gate with two toll booths in]side. Park on left before toll booths!

    West Briefing: 1835

    Flagline Establishment: 1845 +/- Once the Memorial Service begins; we will strike the flagline and members may attend the memorial or QUIETLY depart the area.

    WX: A 20 percent chance of showers. Cloudy, with a high near 69. East southeast wind around 10 mph.

    Notes:

    1. BRING KICKSTAND PADS. The grass we will park on is not wet now, but may be by tomorrow evening.

    2. Be at Belton staging ON TIME and topped off.

    3. Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions and the changes likely in the evening. Consider bringing a snack or at least eating prior to departure.

    4. If you do not attend the Memorial, PLEASE DEPART THE AREA QUIETLY – DO NOT RACK YOUR PIPES ON THE WAY OUT!
