The family of Kenneth Meiers has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Inurnment of their Loved One.
There is NO information available about this individual and I did not bother the Son about details when I spoke with him this morning. They have been trying to contact us through the Funeral Home since Monday until the Commander of the Harker Heights VFW stepped in and called me personally. If you can, PLEASE show/stay for this mission.

Briefing: 1410 – Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags and await arrival of the deceased and his family.
Flagline Establishment: 1455 +/- At the direction of the Ride Captain.
WX: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 1pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 87. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
Note: Hydrate well prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
