    Purple Heart Recipient (2), Marble Falls, TX

    The family of Dennis Martin has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service of their Loved One.

    Dennis served with pride and distinction in the United States Marine Corps from 1967 until 1977, when he was medically retired due to injuries sustained in combat. A highly decorated Marine, Dennis was awarded the Purple Heart with 2 gold stars, the Combat Action ribbon, and the Republic of Vietnam Meritorious Unit Commendation (Gallantry Cross Medal Color with Palm), among numerous awards and commendations.
