    CONFIRMED CENTEX MISSION
CWO Gordon "Gordy" McQuire, US Army, Retired
Officer of the Bell County Sheriff’s Patrol Division, 53, of Salado, TX

The family of Chief Warrant Officer Gordon "Gordy" McQuire has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders in the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One on Tuesday, 17 Jan 12 at Dossman Funeral Home in Belton, TX. We have also been requested to participate in the procession to Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery following the Service.

After graduating from Fort Benton High School in Montana in 1977, Gordy enlisted in the United States Army. He was stationed and served in Germany, Kuwait, Israel, Egypt, and Honduras as a soldier and, after flight school in Alabama, a helicopter pilot. After achieving the rank of Chief Warrant Officer, Gordy retired in 2000. He was certified as a Master Peace Officer in 2004. He was employed with Bell County Sheriff’s Patrol Division between March 2000 and September 2005. In 2005 he returned to one of his greatest joys, flying helicopters, with Metro Aviation and Petroleum Helicopters, Inc. as an air medical pilot. Gordy was very involved in local service organizations. He was an active member of the 3C Cowboy Fellowship Church in Salado. He also was a Master Mason and a member of the Salado Masonic Lodge #296. Finally, he was a member of the Rotary Club of Salado and the Blue Knights MC.
