    CW4 Thomas Jay "TJ" Lange, US Army Retired, Vietnam Veteran

    The family of Chief Warrant Officer 4 Thomas Jay "TJ" Lange has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service of their Loved One on Saturday, 19 Nov 11 at Crawford Bowers Funeral Home in Killeen, TX.

    He spent 24 years in the US Army, acquiring the rank of Chief Warrant Officer 4 before retiring 31 Aug 95. During his service in the Army, he received the Bronze Star Medal (second award), the Purple Heart, Meritorious Service Medal (third award), Air Medal (20th award), Army Commendation Medal (sixth award), Army Achievement Medal (second award), Army Superior Unit Award, Army Good Conduct Medal (third award), Vietnam Service Medal (fourth award). While in the Army, Chief Lange was not only a pilot, but also was a Master Chef and was the Captain of the US Army Culinary Arts Team, which won many awards. Upon retiring from the Army, TJ moved to Alaska, where he was a boat captain and avid fisherman, as well as a pilot.
