    The family of Chief Warrant Officer Three Andrew "Skids" Schaumburg has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Memorial Service of their Loved One.

    Andy enlisted in the US Army as an Infantryman in 1973. He transferred to the Warrant Officer Corps in 1982 and flew the UH-1 (Huey) for the remainder of his military career ending as a DUSTOFF Pilot out of Fort Hood before he retired in 1993. After his 20-year military career, he served as a Police Officer in Waco, TX then returned to his passion of flying after a few years. He flew off-shore with Air Logistics and then flew Emergency Medical Services with PHI Stat Air 1 out of Killeen, TX until 2011. He most recently instructed at Flight Safety International in West Palm Beach, FL. Andy spent free time with family, friends, his beloved dog, "Rusty," and riding his Harley Davidson. He served as the President of the American Legion Riders (Post 223), and was a member of American Legion (Post 573) in Harker Heights, TX. Andy was also a long time member of St Christopher's Episcopal Church in Killeen.
