CPT Angel Marie Fend, US Army, OIF Veteran, Harker Heights, TX
The family of Captain Angel Fend has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Interment of their Loved One. Although the Official Mission is during graveside services at the cemetery, the family has extended an invitation to the riders to attend the viewing at Heritage Funeral Home in Harker Heights from 1200 – 1400, after which they are invited to participate in the procession to CTSVC. The procession will be conducted by the American Legion 573 Riders of which she, her husband and her brother are members.
Angel served her country in the US Army where she was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, the Good Conduct Medal, Iraqi Campaign Medal, and the Combat Action Badge. She was also a member in various local organizations to include the American Legion Post 573, American Legion Riders, and Veteran of Foreign Wars.

Staging Location: The cul-de-sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at the Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, located on Hwy 195 just south of Killeen, TX.
Briefing: 1410 – Once we are cleared, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags and await the arrival of the procession.
WX: Mostly cloudy, with a low around 58. Northeast wind between 5 and 10 mph.
Notes: Hydrate well the night prior, bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.
