    EXTREMELY SHORT NOTICE
    CONFIRMED MISSION
    Captain Claude E. King, US Marine Corps, Retired – West, TX

    The family of Captain Claude E. King has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral and Interment of their Loved One on Monday, 21 Feb 11 at 1400 at the Aderhold Funeral Home in West, Texas.

    Claude served in the United States Marine Corps with the 1st Marine Division for over 26 years before retiring in 1976. He was a survivor of the Chosin Reservoir Campaign during the Korean conflict and served two tours in Vietnam. He also was head of Embassy Security in the Philippines. Claude was a member of the West Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 4819, National Sojourners at Camp Pendleton Chapter No. 243, the West American Legion Post No. 478, the Oceanside Shiner’s in California, and a 32nd degree Mason with the Austin Masonic Lodge.

    1. We have been asked to participate in the procession to Prairie Grove Cemetery off Hwy 933 about 10 miles from the funeral home.

    2. Arrive at topped-off. We will not be stopping for fuel until AFTER the cemetery portion of the mission.

    3. Arrive hydrated, bring water for yourself and a buddy.

    Let us Honor this Retired Marine Patriot for his selfless service to our Great Nation.
