    CONFIRMED MISSION
    Buster Willis Glover, US Army Veteran, WWII

    The family of Buster "Bus" Glover has requested the presence of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Interment of their Loved One on Wednesday, 24 Aug 11 at 1000 at the Lawler Cemetery in Florence, TX. Mr Glover is the father of Peggy Allen, one of our CenTex PGR Members.

    Bus Glover passed away on August 20, 2011 at the age of 90. He served in the US Army during World War II in the European Campaign. He was among the second wave of forces landing on Normandy Beach. He received five Bronze Stars and one Silver Star.

    Patriot Guard Members are invited to offer condolences during Visitation which will be on Tuesday, 23 Aug 11 from 1800 – 2000 at the Young Memorial Chapel, 101 College Avenue, Florence, TX.

    INTERMENT

    Date: Wednesday, 24 Aug 11

    Staging Time: 0900

    Staging Location: Lawler Cemetery, East of Florence, TX tinyurl.com/LawlerChCemeFlorence. Directions: From TX Hwy 195 in Florence turn East on FM 487. Take a left onto FM 2843. Stay straight as road becomes CR 230. Church and Cemetery are on the left.

    Flagline Establishment: 0930 +/-

    WX: Heat Advisory – Mostly sunny and hot, with a high near 103. South wind between 5 and 10 mph.

    Note: Please hydrate well the night before. Bring water for yourself and a buddy and dress with consideration of the weather conditions.

    7:30 am – 7:55 am staging
    7:55 am briefing
    8:00 am KSU for the 35 mile ride up to the cemetery in Florence.
