CONFIRMED CENTEX MISSION
1SG Richard "Dick" Logan Heiges
US Army, Vietnam Veteran, Kempner, TXThe family of First Sergeant Richard Heiges has requested the presence and participation of the Patriot Guard Riders at the Funeral Service and Interment of their Loved One.
After a decorated 22-year military career, including two tours in Vietnam during the Vietnam War, Heiges retired as a First Sergeant on Fort Hood in 1979. In 1983, he was hired at Fort Hood Civil Service into the Directorate of Engineering and Housing (DEH), later known as the Department of Public Works (DPW), where he eventually worked his way up to the Chief of the Maintenance Division for the entire post. Briefing: 1315 – Upon clearance and at the direction of the Ride Captain, we will move to the shelter, set up the flags and await arrival of the procession.
