Prayers and thoughts for SMSgt Mills and his family..I will be there in spirit…September 2, 2009 at 8:44 pm #2141markwellsKeymasterEveryone – Thank you very much for all you did to help honor Bennie today, including those who were with us in spirit. It was a very busy day for Austin and Centex PGR members and I think Bennie's family understood that. They were overwhelmed by your presence. Its a priviledge to ride with you. Allow me to echo Andy's thanx to all flag wranglers.
Sincerely…….GerrySeptember 3, 2009 at 2:30 am #2143markwellsKeymasterGreat turnout today to Honor SMSgt Mills.

And Thanks to all of our Centex brothers for their long day!!September 6, 2009 at 9:53 pm #2151mototerryModeratorBennie Mills, what an awesome family he has. In today's 9-6-09 (Sunday) edition of the Austin American Statesman is the obituary for SMSGT Mills. The Patriot Guard is recognized for participating in his graveside service. The link should take you to it. There's a "sign the guestbook" link above the obituary. I signed the book but be aware comments are not posted until they have been reviewed for proper content.

September 15, 2009 at 1:10 pm #2185markwellsKeymasterFrom Gerry (tripod)…..Riders – Dion Mills, Bennie's son (retired USAF), sent this note thanking you for honoring Bennie at his final resting place in Lockhart Tx on 2 Sep 09. Bennie will indeed be missed by his many friends, comrades in arms, and family.
“One behalf of my family, please thank the members of the PGR who attended and served as the honor guard for my father’s graveside service. From the formation of flags to the presentation of the flag, the entire service was more than we ever could have expected. Being a former commander and having attended too many of these type of events, I can tell you the PGR brought a personal and professional touch to my father’s service that could not be duplicated anywhere, including Arlington. As we said goodbye to our father, my family and I felt surrounded by an extended family who understood and shared the meaning of honor, service, integrity and family. Once again, thank-you.
Dee Mills and family” -
