Great mission today with Medal of Honor recipient SSG Ty Carter. We had 14 in the flag line at the house for the presentation ceremony. We got to visit with Ty and his father at the staging at Bucees beforehand. We were honored to meet an American Hero, and he really is a friendly, easy going guy.

Bastrop Sheriff's Dept did a great job of escorting us up Hwy 95 and over to the home site. And Don was ready with the flags once again.

A shout out to Marc Mulkey who was instrumental in getting the PGR involved in this mission. God Bless SSG Carter, his family, and the Texas Sentinels Foundation for the work they do for our injured warriors.

As a note for anyone reading this mission thread, Netflix has a series entitled “Medal of Honor” which describes the heroic actions of SSGT Ty Carter in episode 8 of season 1.
