    Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the Memorial Service for William D. Sturdevant 78, U.S. Air Force and Vietnam veteran. He served in several other assignments as well and achieved the rank of Major.

    5:45pm – 6:15pm Staging
    6:15pm – Mission Briefing
    6:30pm – Flag Line

    Notes: Arrive on time and bring a bottle of water for you and a friend. Start hydrating the night before.
    This will be a flag line at the church only, with an inurnment at a later date in San Antonio. Once the service has begun, we will strike the flag line and depart quietly.

    I would like to thank the 13 people who, on very short notice, braved the 5pm traffic in Austin to stand tall for Major (Ret) Sturdevant.
    It was also a first mission for one of our members.
    William's wife and granddaughter thanked us for honoring their loved one, saying that he would be very proud that we were there.
    Once again you have made a difference in the lives of our heroes and their families.
