    Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the Funeral Service for Walter D. Retzolk, Jr. 71, U.S. Army Vietnam veteran.
    Walter retired from the Army with the rank of MSgt.

    Date/Time: Friday, Jan 2nd, 2015 10:00am

    Location: Beck Funeral Home, 15709 RR 620, Round Rock, TX. We will stage at the funeral home.
    Directions: The funeral home is located on the south side of RR 620, approx. 3.5 miles west of IH35. map link: tinyurl.com/BeckFHRoundRock

    Timeline:
    8:45am – 9:15am Staging
    9:15am – Mission Briefing
    9:30am – Flagline

    Wx: Lo – 39 Hi – 54, 80% Chance of Rain ( At this writing – KVUE Wx)

    Notes: Start hydrating the day before and bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the weather. This is a flag line only, prior to the service.
    When the service begins, we will strike the flag line and depart quietly. Anyone who is not comfortable riding because of the weather is encouraged to bring their cage.
    Interment is scheduled at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery at 4pm on this day. There will be no procession. Anyone wanting to attend may travel there on their own and stand with CenTex PGR.

    Weather Update –

    As of 6pm tonight the rain forecast has dropped from 80% chance to a 50% chance tomorrow (KVUE) Maybe it will get even better!
    Don't forget to bring a rain jacket though.

    Thanks to the members who braved the 38 deg temp and light rain to stand tall for this veteran and his family. We found out that he served in Vietnam and Korea, and spent 20 yrs in the military.
    Several individuals expressed their thanks and intention to begin attending other missions with the PGR.
    We had 1 bike and 5 cages.
