    Confirmed Mission:
    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the Memorial for Robert Wolcott Smith 87, U.S. Navy, WWII and Korea. Robert achieved the rank of Lt. Commander.

    Date/Time: Friday, Apr 24th, 2015 10:00am

    Location: St. Helens Catholic Church , 2700 E. University, Georgetown Tx

    Directions: We will stage at the church. From IH 35 in Georgetown North or South bound, take the exit for Hwy 29/University Dr. Turn east and follow University for 2.5 miles to the church, on the right. It is just before reaching the inner loop.

    Timeline:
    8:45am – 9:15am Staging
    9:15am – Briefing
    9:30am – Flag Line

    Wx: Lo-70 Hi-84, 60% Chance of Storm ( KVUE Wx)

    Notes: Start hydrating the day before and bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the weather. Arrive at staging with a full tank. At 12:45pm, we will have LEO escort to Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery, where CenTex Region will be standing ready for the inurnment with honors. Once we arrive, we will come under their direction.

    The day started with rain but ended just before we stood the flag line. Yeah! We had 6 flag bearers for the beginning of service w 3 having to leave after. For the procession, we gained a couple & had 4 riders & a cage from PGR. Thank U all so much for standing for this veteran.
