    Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the memorial service for Michael Eugene Mims 67, U.S. Air Force and U.S. Coast Guard veteran who served in the Phillipines and Vietnam.

    Date/Time: Saturday, January 25th, 2014, 2:00pm

    Location: Live Oak Cemetery, Manchaca Tx

    Directions: We will stage at the Cowboy Harley-Davidson Dealership, 10917 S. IH 35. Going south on IH 35, take the 225 Exit to the frontage rd, go south to the first crossover back north, then north on the N/B frontage to the Harley shop.

    Timeline: 
    12:25pm – 12:55pm Staging 
    12:55pm – Mission/Ride Briefing
    1:10pm – KSU/Ride to the Cemetery

    Wx: Lo -31, hi – 60 sunny (KVUE Wx)

    Notes:   Please arrive on time with tanks topped off and hydrate prior to the mission. Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the weather (check before leaving). This is a memorial at the cemetery and there will be no procession. Flag line will be established at the cemetery upon arrival and completed at 2:00pm when the service starts.

    The family of Michael Mims asked me to convey their heartfelt gratitude to all that stood for their loved one. The turnout was exceptional with twenty-three motorcycles and flag wrangler Sam Warren's borrowed cage. My thanks to all of you for a Mission well done!
