    Confirmed Mission: The family has requested the PGR to participate in the graveside funeral service of Joseph E. Marshall 93, U.S. Army Air Corp B24 tail gunner and WWII veteran.

    Date/Time: Saturday , September 21st, 2013  10:00am

    Location: First United Methodist Church at 400 Olive Street, Smithville Texas

    Directions: We will stage at the church. Travelling east on Hwy 71 from Bastrop, exit right onto Hwy 95/230 by the airport. Go south on Hwy 95, cross the river bridge and turn left (east) on the first street (NW 5th). Follow NW 5th east for about 8 blocks and turn right on Olive St. Preceed to the church. Map link:

    Timeline: 
    9:30am – 10:00am Staging 
    10:00am – Mission/Safety Briefing
    10:30am – Depart in an LEO escorted procession about 2 miles south on Hwy 95 to Oak Hill Cemetery for the graveside service, with honors.

    Notes:   Please arrive on time, and hydrate prior to the mission.. Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the hot weather. Suggest sun block. There is no service at the church. Once the graveside service is completed, we will strike the flag line and depart.
