EXTREMELY SHORT NOTICE: Help on the Homefront Mission in Austin
Confirmed Mission: VERY SHORT NOTICE – The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in a ceremony for the Wreaths Across America at the State Capitol Building in Austin.
Date/Time: Monday, December 9th, 2013, 11:00am
Location: Texas State Capitol Building, 11th and Congress Ave, Austin
Directions: We will stage at the south steps of the Capitol. Look for the Ride Captain who will be standing at the steps.
From IH35 north or south bound, take the exit for E. 11th. Turn west on 11th and proceed 7 blocks to the south side of the capitol complex.

Timeline:
10:00am – 10:20am Staging
10:20am – Mission Briefing
10:30am – Flag line at RC’s discretion
Wx: Lo -33, hi – 44 A front is predicted for late in the afternoon.
Notes: Please arrive on time and hydrate prior to the mission.. Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the weather (check before leaving).
This will be a flag line only and there will be no motorized processions. The parking situation is unknown so parking on the capitol grounds may not be available. Suggest parking in the 1000 blk of Congress Ave (meters), or the 100 – 200 blk of East and West 11th streets, or the 1100 – 1200 Blks of Colorado or Brazos. Consider Cages.
