    Confirmed Mission:
    The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the service for Edward Klawunn 89, United States Marine Corps veteran. Ed served on active duty and reserves for 9 yrs in the U.S. and Japan, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant.

    Date/Time: Wednesday, Apr 29th, 2015 10:00am

    Location: Gabriels Funeral Home, 393 IH 35, Georgetown Tx

    Directions: We will stage at the funeral home. The funeral home is located on the southbound frontage road of IH-35. If traveling north on IH-35, take exit 264, cross over to southbound side. Funeral home is located immediately north of the La Quinta hotel. From southbound IH-35, take exit 262. Map link: goo.gl/maps/XItpl

    Timeline:
    8:45am – 9:15am Staging
    9:15am – Briefing
    9:30am Flag Line

    Wx: Lo-51 Hi-73 Sunny, ( KVUE Wx)

    Notes: Start hydrating the day before and bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the weather. Sunblock recommended. Interment with honors will follow at the IOOF Cemetery in Georgetown. Once the service starts, we will break down the flag line and proceed to the cemetery to wait for the family’s arrival.

    A big thank U to the 10 PGR members that stood for this Marine today. The MCL (Marine Corps League), which Ed was a member of, made several really nice comments about our presence. U did good, looked good & are good. When U take time out of your day to stand tall for our veterans, U make a BIG difference & are really appreciated.
