    Confirmed Mission: SHORT NOTICE – The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to participate in the funeral service of Lance Corporal David Rodriguez 64, U.S. Marine Corp Vietnam Veteran. David achieved the rank of Lance Corporal and was awarded the Purple Heart.

    Date/Time: Wednesday, April 9th, 2014, 10:00am

    Location: San Jose Cathiolic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Ave, Austin Texas

    Directions: We will stage at the church. From IH35 and E. Oltorf St, go west on Oltorf. After crossing So. 1st Street, go 3 blocks and turn left (south) on Oak Crest Ave. The church will be on the right.

    8:45am – 9:15am Staging 
    9:15am – Mission / Safety Briefing
    9:30am – Establish Flag Line

    Wx: Lo -49 , hi – 78 Sunny (KVUE Wx)

    Notes:   Please arrive on time with enough fuel to complete the mission. Start hydrating the day before and bring a bottle of water and one for a friend. Suggest sunblock. We will accompany the family and friends in an LEO escorted procession to Assumption Cemetery for graveside honors.
