    Confirmed Mission: The Patriot Guard Riders have been asked to participate in the memorial service for Dale Richardson 66, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. Mr. Richardson served as a medic in Vietnam and achieved the rank of Pvt.

    Date/Time: Friday, November 15th, 2013,  2:00pm

    Location: Serbin Picnic Grounds, 1578 CR 211, Giddings Tx

    Directions: We will stage at the Chevron station in Paige Tx, on the S/W corner of US 290 East and FM 2104. From US 290 E and Hwy 95 in Elgin, go east on US 290 for about 18.2 miles to FM 2104. Chevron is on the right.

    12:30pm – 12:50pm Staging 
    12:50pm – Mission Briefing
    KSU to Picnic Ground – 1:00pm

    Wx: Lo – 50, hi – 71 Partly Cloudy (KVUE Wx)

    Notes:   Please arrive on time and hydrate prior to the mission.. Bring a bottle of water for yourself and one for a friend. Dress for the weather (check before leaving).
    This will be a flag line before the service at the Picnic grounds, and will be established at the RC’s discretion.
    Once the service has begun, we will strike the line and depart quietly.

    Obituary
    Anson Dale Richardson, 66 passed away November 4, 2013. He was born October 31, 1947 in Plainview, Texas. In 1967 he joined the United States Army, serving two tours as a Medic in Vietnam. He was proud of his service. Upon his return to the states he started his life long career in the heavy construction and oilfield services. He loved working in his shop, and restoring collectible cars. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Carolyn Richardson, brothers Ross and Johnnie (Doc) Richardson, sister Glenda Sharp, sons Mike and Robbie Richardson, daughters Cristy Hopson and Georgia Cross.

    There were eight of us to honor Dale Richardson. Mr. Richardson's wife, daughters and sons were very grateful we were there to honor their loved one. Thank you all.
