UPDATE INFO FOR ARRIVAL AND MISSION:

    Riders,

At the meeting and walk through at the Shoreline church this afternoon, several things had changed. Some of this concerns the PGR riders.

    1. When going to the church, they want us to enter at a certain driveway which is on Shoreline Drive. Approaching the church while traveling on Burner Rd (north or south), go to the traffic light at the intersection of Burnet Rd and Shoreline Dr. Turn to the east on Shoreline Dr and go to the second entrance of the big parking lot on the right. One entrance will be coned off, so look for the one where the officer is standing. You will be directed to our parking area and asked to park in two’s, side-by-side and up close. This area is only for those who are going to ride to the cemetery in the procession. Please follow the directions given.
There is no shade at that location, so you may want something to cover the seat. No cages in this area.
Here is a map link for the intersection and church from google earth:

    2. Times – The flag line will be discontinued beginning at 11am, until the family / guests come outside for the Police Honors portion. Once the service is complete, there will be about 30 minutes until KSU for the cemetery. You may want to bring a sandwich or snack to have during this one of these breaks as there won’t be another chance until the cemetery portion is complete.
Suggest each rider has sunblock, water or gatorade, handkerchief you can wet and put around your neck, etc. ARRIVE AT THE CHURCH WITH A FULL TANK OF GAS!
Big flag bikes make sure your flag mounts are secure.

Remember there are several different agencies working on this, so be ready for changes (Semper Gumby) and most important ……..be safe!
    We will see you there.

74 bikes and 3 or 4 cages braved the heat to honor Sgt. Christopher Kelly. Long slow ride to Central Texas Veterans Cemetery with more law enforcement than you could count. Great job everyone.

And a shout out to Terry for his outstanding crowd control efforts during the outdoor portion at the church. Thanks for stepping up.
