Final Itinerary – Note revised time of day below.
The family of Mr. Stephen Gumbs has requested the participation of the PGR in his funeral and interment services. Mr. Gumbs left the Army as a sergeant, serving 8 years with Bravo Company, 215th First Cav, including in Dessert Storm. He passed away on 21 Oct after a two year battle with cancer and leaves behind this wife (also a Desert Storm veteran) and two young daughters.
Date/Time: Friday, 29 Oct 2010. Services scheduled at 9:00 am.
Location: Cook Walden Funeral Home, 14501 North IH-35, Pflugerville, TX 78660. Burial to follow at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Killeen. We will stage at the funeral home.

Timeline:
7:50 – 8:20 am staging
8:20 am briefing and flag line.
Wx: Clear, low 43, high 72, bring plenty of drinking water, sunscreen recommended.
Notes: Please arrive fed, fueled, and hydrated. At the conclusion of the funeral service there will be an LEO escorted procession to the CTSVC in Kileen, approx. 46 miles, for the 12:00 pm interment service. We will be under the direction of the Centex ride captain upon arrival at the cemetery.

Staging Location: The Cul-de-Sac between the Walk of Heroes and the Memorial Shelter at Central Texas State Veterans Cemetery located on Hwy 195 just south of Killeen, TX.
Notes: Once we are cleared, we will move to the shelter, set up flags and await the arrival of Sergeant Gumbs and his family.
